How would I know if my facility is doing better (or worse) than my peers?
We do something called benchmarking. It is an expectation of accrediting agencies. Your facility needs to be able to measure itself against others. Sheldon S, Sones and Associates routinely performs this function for over 60 sites and measures overall performance, documentation, and infection control data.
